Client: Collier County
Since 1997, Hole Montes has been providing continual services to Collier County’s Regional SCWRF.
The project phases included the expansion of the facility to a 16 MGD build-out capacity that included provisions to handle large peak flows associated with rain events up to 40 MGD through construction of new screens and grit removal facilities to handle the normal non-rain peak flows. Phase II included additional aeration basins, clarifiers, effluent filters, chlorine contact tanks, aerated sludge holding tanks, and sludge dewatering systems. A second deep injection well was constructed in Phase III. Phase IV consists of the replacement of two 14 MGD screens with new screens and screening’s washer and conveyors; as well as upgrades to bleach storage and feed facilities, including three new storage tanks, new pumps and pipings.
