Bob Mulhere, FAICP receives the Roland Eastwood Planner of the Year Award Bob Mulhere, FAICP Bob Mulhere, FAICP has received the Roland Eastwood Planner of the Year Award by the Promised Lands Section of the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Florida Planning and Zoning Association. The award, named in honor of Roland Eastwood, a legendary land use attorney who was the first director of the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council from 1974 to 1982 and a Lee County Commissioner from 1982 to 1990, has been awarded annually since 2000. The 2017 recipient Mulhere, Vice President of Planning for Hole Montes, was honored for his nearly 30 years of planning work in southwest Florida, serving both the public and private sector. Past recipients of the award include Neno Spagna, Wayne Daltry, Bill Spikowski, Sharon Jenkins-Owen; Ron Lee; Glenn Ahlert, David Burr, Rep. Mike Davis, Mary Gibbs; Patricia Newton, Vince Cautero, Dan Trescott, Debrah Forester, Julia B. Davis, David Crawford, Jim LaRue, and Pamela E. Houck.
