Estero Fire Station – Coconut Point: Hole Montes provided engineering services for the submittal and approval of a South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) permit for the Estero Fire and Rescue Station located on the south side of Sweetwater Ranch Boulevard in Coconut Point. The firm prepared boundary surveys and construction plans including fuel containment details for a fuel storage facility supporting a stand -by generator. Important considerations in the site design included critical vehicular movement of the fire vehicles on-site as well as over and across Sweetwater Ranch Boulevard, a four lane roadway. As the engineer for Coconut Point, Hole Montes coordinated the design of the surrounding roadways, drainage and utilities for surrounding mall/residential/commercial project with the fire station which was built prior to the construction of Coconut Point Mall and Lifestyle Center.

Arborwood Village EMS: The proposed EMS project is located within the Arborwood Village commercial sub-division located at the intersection of Treeline Avenue and Daniels Parkway. The project included the construction of a 1,500 square foot modular building that would serve as the residence and office for the EMS staff on duty. A second 1,300 square foot garage was proposed as future Phase 2 improvements. Hole Montes coordinated the design of the project with the Client, Lee County, and sub-consultants. Hole Montes also coordinated the permit applications to SFWMD and Lee County Development Services.
