NCH North Naples Hospital

Naples, Collier County, Florida

Hole Montes has served as Naples Community Hospital’s (NCH) Civil Engineer for 20 years. As part of a project team involving architects, mechanical engineers and landscape architects, we have designed and permitted many projects for the Downtown as well as North Collier campuses.

In 2007, the $64 million Jay & Patty Baker Tower (1) opened for patients. This six-story tower project included patient rooms, patient services and a new main entrance lobby. Prior to the opening, some support buildings were added. These include: an overhead walkway (2) to connect the parking lot to the new tower and the Central Energy Plant and Cooling Towers and Materials Management (3). A key element in the project was the construction of the 500-space parking garage (4) prior to the elimination of the parking spaces removed for construction of the Bed Tower. Phase Two of the project was completed in early 2008. This work includes construction of a new lab and cafeteria within the Bed Tower. The existing lab was demolished and in its place is a new patient drop-off and parking areas. In addition, a new internal driveway (5) was constructed which connects the east and west sides of the existing campus.

Other NCH North Collier projects which Hole Montes has designed / permitted include:
• Emergency Room Expansion (6) completed in 1993.
• The Birthing Center, an OB/GYN surgical center, (7) completed in 1996.
• North Naples Medical Park site design (8), completed in 1997
• Children’s Medical Services Building (9) completed in 1999.
