NCH Downtown Medical Arts Center

Naples, Collier County, Florida

For 20 years, Hole Montes, as part of a project team involving architects, mechanical engineers and landscape architects, has designed and permitted many projects for the expansion of the Naples Community Hospital’s Downtown Campus.

Hole Montes has been responsible for the design of extensive campus improvements including water, sewer, and stormwater drainage utilities; parking lot modifications and improvements; land plan and site design for new buildings; as well as permitting with local and regional agencies for the 6.3-acre Medical Arts Center project, that was completed in four phases.

Phase 1: (1991) The 6-story, 1400-car parking complex. Phase 2: (2002-2003) The 3-story, 70,000 square foot building to accommodate medical offices and surgical suites. For the safety and convenience of visitors, patients, doctors and staff access is gained to the main hospital via a sky bridge. Phase 3: (2005-2006) The Briggs Wellness Center is a 40,000 square foot facility that encompasses 4 clinical departments. The 2-story building also includes a 25-meter indoor swimming pool. Access is gained via the parking garage or by walking across the sky bridge. Phase 4: (2007) A parking access ramp was added on the west side of the existing parking garage to improve access to the employee parking, floors 4 - 7, and reduce traffic congestion with the public parking areas on floors 1-3.
